It can be due to the inability to look beyond our current circumstances and refuse that good thing can’t happen to us. The overload of negative information received through the media, social networks, and newspapers affect people’s attitude and behavior. As we grow up, the negative thoughts and feelings become an integral part of our lives and affect our attitude, decisions, and behavior.

As a result, see choose passivity, dwell on fears and worries, experience stress, anxiety, and unhappiness, and allow this negative path to be our own choice. Passivity, fears, stress, and lack of happiness are not the only options. WE CAN CHOOSE POSITIVE THINKING, AND EMBRACE HOPE, CONFIDENCE, OPTIMISM, AND THE COURAGE TO DARE AND TO SUCCEED. what is positive thinking? Here are a few definitions to help you understand what positive thinking is:

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that expects success and positive results. Positive thinking is a mental attitude that helps us stay positive, despite obstacles, setbacks, and failures. Positive thinking focuses on being optimistic, looking for ways to overcome difficulties, hoping to succeed, and persevering with your efforts until attaining positive results. Positive thinking is a mental attitude that enables us to believe in ourselves and in our abilities to succeed in whatever we do. Positive thinking is a frame of mind that focuses on positive thoughts, positive words, and positive mental images.

Positive thinking makes us see the good in everything. A positive state of mind expects and believes that everything would eventually turn out well. A positive state of mind dissolves negative emotions and enables you to experience happiness and inner peace. If your plan does not turn out as we have expected them, this frame of mind helps us remain poised and avoid getting discouraged.

PEOPLE WHO THINK POSITIVELY SAY:

“I CAN DO IT.”

“I CAN AND I LOVE TO EXERCISE MY BODY.”

“I CAN LOSE WEIGHT.”

“IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LOVE.”

“I AM TALENTED.”

“EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT WELL.”

“I WILL FIND A GOOD AND REWARDING JOB.”

“I TRUST MYSELF TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE.”

“I’LL SUCCEED.”

Optimistic people use phrases such as:

“I believe that I’m capable of achieving whatever I put my mind to.”

“Failure guides me to learn from my mistakes and do better the next time.”

“I have the will and the ability to realize my goal.”

“I will find the way to get what I want.”

“I am going to enjoy my trip.”

“I am going to do my best at work and get the promotion I want.”

THE MOTTO OF A POSITIVE ATTITUDE:

“No matter what my current circumstances are, and no matter what obstacles lay ahead of me, I believe in myself and in my abilities to succeed.”

Positive thinking is a synonym for Hope.”

Positive thinking is about Believing In Yourself.”

Positive thinking is about NOT GIVING UP in spite of failures and not difficulties.”

Why Positive Thinking Is Better than Negative Thinking

Choosing positive thinking is much better than choosing negative thinking. Here is Why:

A person with a negative attitude focuses on problems and difficulties and expects the worst to happen. Such a person gives up at a very early stage when confronting difficulties.

On the other hand, a person with a positive attitude focuses on success and happiness and expects good results.

A person who thinks positively would not give up when facing difficulties.

Such a person will look for solutions to problems, examine new opportunities, and will not consider giving up as an option.

If you possess a negative attitude toward a certain issue, you would most probably anticipate hardships and failure, This attitude might lead you to avoid making any effort since you would consider it unreasonable to try if you are going to fail anyway.

On the other hand, if you have a positive attitude, you expect success and positive results, and would therefore make the needed efforts to achieve your goals.

A negative way of thinking, which anticipates failure, leads to stress, fear of failure, restlessness, anxiety, doubts, and a feeling that something bad is going to happen.

It is very simple, Negative makes you expect the worst to happen, and fills your mind with thoughts about lack, difficulties, and disastrous situations.

On the other hand, positive thinking reduces the levels of restlessness, fear, and stress, and increases inner strength and happiness. This consequently leads to success and fulfillment.

Why does positive thinking lead to positive results?

When you have a positive attitude to life, you feel confident and poised and avoid worries and restlessness. Therefore, you can deal with obstacles efficiently, become aware of new opportunities, make good choices, and move confidently toward your goal.

If your predominant mental attitude is negative, you lost hope and give up on your dreams, since you would feel that it is a waste of time and energy to try to achieve them.

On the other hand, if your mental attitude is positive, you become ambitious, and pursue your goals assiduously, despite difficulties or obstacles.

In conclusion, a negative state of mind results in expecting difficulties, failures, and disappointment. A positive state of mind results in confidence, ambition, and the will to succeed.

  1. This is a great post and I agree with it completely. You do have the choice to choose positive thinking as apposed to negative thinking regardless of your circumstances. Another aspect I believe is expectations. Some people give up on succeeding because they don’t think their effort is making a difference. But, what I have found personally is that it starts with our expectations and the type of goals we set.

For example, we can say we want to lose 50 pounds, but when we see that we are not reaching that goal we can give up. Why? Because in reality we do not have control over that goal. But, if we set a goal of something like, I will do 30 minutes of exercise a day for 90 days. This is a goal we have control over (unless we get hurt and cannot reach that goal). If we do not reach that goal for 90 days, it is only because we chose not to do it. We have complete control over that goal. My suggestion is to set goals that are easily measured and we can see the results.

This way we are less likely to lose our motivation. Thanks for this great post!
